Knowing the true meaning of the word Sanstha is 'Faith' and this faith we founded 'Sahyadri Shikshan Sanstha' on 15th June 2002. Since the year 2002, the organization has done various activities. There are seven directors of the organization, who are involved in all the activities of the organization. The institute is government recognized and 80G, 12A as well as ISO certified.

Sahyadri Education Institute has the following activities. :- Eye check-up camp, all disease diagnosis and treatment camp, tree plantation, cleanliness drive, public awareness round, International Women's Day, Haldi-kunku program for women, awareness about disabled children, distribution of awards by the organization to the person who has done excellent work in the society, as well as chadar, food donation to the needy, Distribution of clothes, guidance and counseling for adolescent girls etc. Programs are implemented.

The organization donated food for 30 days to 70 people from the poor, Katkari community of Panchvad Panchkroshi during the time of covid. Also, Anganwadi teachers, helpers are provided with sanitizers, masks etc. allocated. Apulaki School for Mentally retarded (Disabled) Children, Residential School, Early Intervention Center and Apulaki Center for Small Scale Industries of the Handicapped.

On June 15, 2002, the school started in a very small room. Sahyadri started 'Apulki' for children who were initially considered 'crazy' or naive to get a place in the society, to create awareness about the disabled in the society by bringing together all the disabled (mentally retarded). Taking 5 students with her, the first admission was Poonam i.e. Sushma Pawar's sister. The affection that became the inspiration for the school began.
